Jubilee Devine

March 2, 2026 by

Jubilee, bred to be a show dog, born to be a star. After being rejected from the dog show life, she ended up in her forever home in 2018.

In 2021, she developed uveodermatologic syndrome, which caused her to go blind, lose her eyes, and her fur to turn white. It was a very challenging period, but she kept fighting and living life to the fullest, loving everyone, and developed a love for smelling flowers.

In 2024, she developed a mast cell tumor on her kidney, which was only the second one recorded in that location. She underwent surgery to have her kidney removed and was given yet another chance at life.

She didn’t waste it! Between going to work with mom, daily walks, hiking, camping, and more, she proved that being blind does not define her, and that special-needs dogs can live amazing lives.

Unfortunately, the cancer came back on her other kidney, and after 7 months of treatment, she ultimately went to heaven, as angels are only on Earth for so long.

She will be remembered as “Jubilant Jubilee” to her friends, in person and online. She built a following of supporters and inspired others to adopt special needs dogs. Your family loves you and misses you, Sweet Girl.
